We are seeking a Millwright for a permanent vacancy based in Cape Town, Western Cape Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 plus Qualified Millwright / Electrician with completed apprenticeship Wireman’s License (3 phase) preferred 3+ years’ experience in large electrical&mechanical installations Must have strong electrical background 3+ years’ experience in SCADA and PLC control systems as well as field control instrumentation advantageous Strong MS Office ability Must be medically fit, comfortable with confined spaces and heights Must have valid driver’s license, own vehicle and willing to travel long distances and sleep out when necessary Willing to work standby duties as required Candidate MUST be based in Western Cape The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Ensure application and adherence to maintenance information systems and ensure all assets are marked and controlled Attend to break-downs and prioritize jobs promptly Routine services, repairs and preventative maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment Apply sound HR principles to meet objectives Ensure safety&housekeeping as set out in OHS Act and comply with ISO systems; as well as continual improvement of systems Ensure stock levels are maintained Assist with sourcing, quality control of equipment as well as pricing, tendering and implementation on installations Salary: Negotiable To apply email detailed CV and supporting documentation through to janineh@sheldon.co.za If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful #J-18808-Ljbffr
