We're seeking a highly motivated and professionally registered Electrical Engineer (ECSA) to join our client’s multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm in Cape Town! Requirements · At least 10 years' experience in the Consulting Engineering industry after obtaining the degree, as well as design and project execution supervision experience in the reticulation industry. · 5 years plus design and project execution supervision experience in the solar or wind sector. · Registered as Professional Engineer for more than 5 years with ECSA. · Preferably registered as a Certified Energy Manager. · Design of HV, MV and LV systems associated with Solar PV, BESS and wind generation projects. · Power analysis, energy management systems, reticulation design and utility integration Duties include but are not limited to: · Lead the electrical design work ensuring project objectives are met, design instructions are implemented, and delivery is achieved within the set time and budget. · Tender documentation (compile specifications, Pricing Schedules, and tender evaluation) · Attend site meetings, perform commissioning and dealing with contractual related matters.
