Job Description: The nGAP represents the sixth phase of the Staffing South African Universities Framework (SSAUF), which the Minister of Higher Education and Training approved at the start of 2015 as an initiative to improve the academic staffing capacity of South African universities. The programme takes as a starting point the urgent and challenging imperative to recruit, support and retain black (African, Coloured and Indian) and female academic staff to address their serious underrepresentation at all levels in the sector. It will be a key vehicle to contribute to the transformation of the academic staff profile in disciplinary areas of greatest need.
