Job Summary: The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term partnerships with customers, achieving and exceeding annual sales targets, generating new business, and providing exceptional customer service. They will sell the complete range of our client's electronic security products to an assigned customer base, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities: Develop long-term partnerships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Meet or exceed annual sales targets by effectively promoting and selling our client’s products. Generate new business by identifying and pursuing opportunities within the market. Sell the complete range of our client’s products to the assigned customer base, ensuring comprehensive product knowledge. Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships. Collect outstanding payments from assigned customers promptly. Develop and implement a monthly call cycle plan to effectively manage customer interactions. Stay up to date with new products and industry trends to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers. Conduct on-site customer training as needed to ensure proper product usage and maximize customer satisfaction. Meet with clients on-site outside of normal business hours as required to accommodate their schedules. Provide technical support to customers, addressing product-related queries and troubleshooting issues. Conduct in-house training sessions for customers to enhance their product knowledge and usage. Complete all administrative requirements accurately and promptly. Assist with deliveries if required to ensure timely product distribution. Manage the product group budget effectively, monitoring expenses and optimizing resource allocation. Provide management with relevant monthly reports and statistical information regarding sales, stockholding, clients, and market trends. Perform any other tasks assigned by Management from time to time to support business objectives. Qualifications&Role Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in sales, preferably in the telecom/ security products industry. Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Technical aptitude to understand and effectively communicate product features and benefits. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software. Willingness to travel as needed. Key account management experience in the South African security industry. Practical knowledge of the South African security industry. General IT and networking knowledge. Ability to work independently and achieve results without supervision.
