Role Purpose/Business Unit: Lead Intelligent Automation Strategy execution  Intimate understanding of maturity of Data Scientist capability in the markets and leverage DS capability to fast-track implementation of Intelligent Automation  Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve levels of digitisation and quality of output Own RPA Citizen programme to fast-track adoption of RPA across all markets Facilitate the automation of respective environment(s). Play a change agent role to communicate to stakeholders.  Facilitate change management practices that ensure seamless adoption of Intelligent Automation strategy Have a clear understanding of  Process Engineer methodologies End-to-end processes assessment,  Ability to articulate inefficiencies in the system  Re-engineer and radically simply processes Identify opportunities for digitisation using various technologies, which include, but not limited to Robotics Process Automation, Machine Learning, Natural Language Understanding, Optical Character Recognition etc Understand customer experience and data insights to inform value ads in the process. Must be able to manage complex, multiple end-to-end processes Create and maintain a standard of building quality business case for intelligent automation Monitor progress against assigned strategic initiatives and deliverables Report on deviations that could derail the achievements against targets Change Management: Support change management efforts by providing expertise and guidance during process redesign and implementation phases Strategic Project Delivery & Leadership Consulting leaders on end-to-end process Re-Engineering solutions on processes targeted for automation Lead and facilitate the compilation of business cases for reengineering and automation  Incorporate customer insights to ensure effective problem definition and prioritisation Lead, manage and, coach business process engineers and analysts On an adhoc basis, oversee and deliver on strategic projects in the Executive’s office as aligned to the strategic roadmap  Monitor progress on allocated project deliverables Your responsibilities will include: Promote a service mentality and develop strong relationships with Customer Operations, Finance, Consumer, Business and Technology areas  Support alignment of activities and objectives across the Vodacom Digital Process Re-Engineering team.  Manage the creation of consistent and integrated improvement  Represent the Group Executive Head’s office in meetings and action decisions/deliverables as mandated from time to time Identify strategy growth opportunities in the Intelligent Automation space Own Citizen Development strategy in VSA and IB Markets  Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve customer experience, fast track revenue generation, and ***/ Opex spend reduction Perform risk assessments Quantify business benefits linked to digitisation The ideal candidate for this role will have: Honor’s Degree, preferably an MBA/ Masters Degree in Commerce or Information Technology; Engineering degrees will be considered with demonstrated Lean Process Engineering experience. 7-10 years experience performing process improvements, with a strong preference for candidates with automation and consultancy industry experience. Min 4 years of RPA hands-on experience.  1-2 years of people management experience will be advantageous  Experience in the Telco industry will be an added advantage Strong presentation skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
