Process Engineer (Automation) required for international automotive company based in Pretoria, Gauteng.You will be responsible for ensuring the completion and launch of engineering development of new project products, undertake the manufacturing engineering development, product approval and launch support of new products according to the customer's product approval process / procedure.Requirements:Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical, vehicle engineering or related.At least 3 - 5 years experience in related working experience.Engineering/Process engineering experience.Automotive experience essential.Responsibilities:Lead the engineering quotation in the early stage of new business projects, digest product drawings, data and samples, prepare product quotation Technical Report (such as BOM, process flow, tooling and other information).Undertake the feasibility analysis of manufacturing process for product structure design in the early stage of the project, output review and feasibility report, and track the optimization and improvement of product data according to the review results.Organize the technical feasibility review and approval of raw materials, tooling equipment and other stages, sign technical agreements, track the manufacturing process of equipment and tooling tools, and participate in the acceptance, installation and tooling equipment and other stages with relevant departments.Organize trial production of new products, project review at each stage, implement and track engineering changes, carry out product approval according to customer approval process, support internal factories to prepare for production, and lead the preparation of relevant technical documents before approval, QAD code application, material application during trial production of new products, etc.Support new project to solve engineering problems after SOP.Should you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry@profilepersonnel.co.za.
