Tyger Valley Waterfront Up to R30,000 per month depending on experience and qualifications.Are you competent in applying technical knowledge, engineering principles, and problem-solving techniques in the field to assist a specialist team in implementing and conducting infrastructure asset management processes, or similar, looking for a change of scenery?My client, a consulting practice which offers financial accounting support and management solutions, asset accounting and forensic services to the private and public sectors since 2007, is looking for an experienced Junior Electrical Engineer to join their vibrant, dynamic team in Tyger Valley Waterfront, Bellville, Cape Town to:Carry out condition and defect inspections for infrastructureIdentify, classify, record, validate and analyse asset inventory and condition data for infrastructure (plant and equipment)Carry out site and field inspections, including extensive walking in various terrains and locationsBe mobile around construction sites, buildings, facilities and networksUse mobile devices and applications to undertake data collectionAssist with monthly reporting to clients You may be the successful Candidate to join the team situated in Tyger Valley Waterfront, Bellville, Cape Town if you:Have a National N.Diploma (NQF Level 6) OR B.Tech or B.Sc in Electrical or Civil Engineering (NQF Level 7) OR can demonstrate competence in applying technical knowledge, engineering principles, and problem-solving techniques in the field.Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel);Have a valid driver''s license;Will respect and share the companys morals;Work well in the team environment;Are ideally registered at ECSA (Candidate or professional)Are based in Cape Town (No relocation costs will be paid)Are flexibility on schedule with the ability to stay past traditional hours on days needed.Are willing to work away from home for extended periods in rural areas of South AfricaCan work proactively on your own (unsupervised) and in a teamCommunicate well in verbal and written format and interact with all levels in both Afrikaans and EnglishCan be analytical and constantly identify areas for improvement in internal processes as well as the processes of clientsHave the personality attributes, technical and customer service skills typically associated with successful EngineersAre trustworthy and honestHave the ability to meet targets and deadlinesAre based in Cape Town.
