Proposed Role: The Global Design Centre is seeking to hire engineers with experience in the implementation of wastewater treatment projects to work on a multi-year infrastructure programme for a European water authority. The role will be based in South Africa, at either of Zutari’s Cape Town or Tshwane offices. Civil or Mechanical Engineers or Technologists are eligible to apply Responsibilities will include: Performing complex engineering activities, investigations, studies, assessments, calculations and analyses for the implementation of multiple wastewater treament projects. Managing or assisting with the management of project work to deliver high quality outputs within constrained timeframes. Be a team playrer willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines and international geographies. Ensure that all wok complies with Zutari’s quality control procedures and that the required quality standards are maintained. BEng, BSc (Eng) or BTech in Civil Engineering or Mechancial Engineering. A total of at least 5 years’ post graduate experience on wastewater treatment engineering projects. A total of 7 or more years’ post graduate experience on wastewater treatment engineering projects would be a distinct advantage in securing a senior role in the team. Professional registration (Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech. Eng.) would be an advantage. Process design experience is not essential to the role, but will be advantageous in standing out above other prospective candidates.
