We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in the Witbank, Mpumalanga a rea. The succesful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Complex by ensuring optimal exploitation of coal reserves and assisting in meeting operational and strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Conducting medium-term planning activities for the opencast operations. Supporting the production process to achieve planned targets. Fulfilling daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting duties. Supporting the preparation of reserves and parameters. Conducting viability studies. Minimum Qualification: Relevant Tertiary Qualification (NQF Level 7) in Mining OR relevant Mineral Resource Management. Blasting Certificate (Surface/Underground). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD (Microstation) and other scheduling software (XPAC/OCCS). Experience in design packages (Vulcan, 3D-Dig, Dragsim, Haulism) and Xeras knowledge will be an added advantage. Minimum Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Production Supervisor role and minimum 3 years’ experience in the Planning Environment. Experience as a Drill&Blast Superintendent will be advantageous.
