As a Section Manager Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, and providing technical guidance and support to your team.Responsibilities:Manage and lead a team of engineers, providing leadership, guidance, and support as neededOversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budgetMonitor and evaluate the performance of the engineering team, providing feedback and coaching as neededCollaborate with other departments to ensure that engineering projects are aligned with company goals and objectivesDevelop and implement strategies to improve engineering processes and proceduresStay current on industry trends and developments, and provide recommendations for new technologies or methodologies that could benefit the teamBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and senior managementRequirements:Relevant engineering degree such as BSc Engineering, BEng, BTech Control and Instrumentation/Electronics, etc.Proven track record of extensive practical experience in Instrumentation/Automation management at middle management levelExperience in Advanced Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA)Experience in managing third party contractors and suppliersBe declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk–based medical examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test, and such other tests as may be required to assess the applicant’s suitability for employment#J-18808-Ljbffr
