Hospitality Group Operations Director We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospitality Group Operations Director to join our executive management team. This pivotal role involves conceptualizing and designing a comprehensive end-to-end operations strategy and business plan to ensure sustainability and profitability across South Africa. The role is instrumental in driving long-term strategic planning and policies within our portfolio, facilitating the achievement of our aims and objectives through effective and efficient operational delivery. Additionally, the role has a strong business-development component. Key Responsibilities: - Assisting the managing director in developing and implementing the overall business plan for the group. - Provide strategic vision and set the direction for the Operations Division. - Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and health and safety standards. - Facilitate and assist managers in resolving strategic issues. - Oversee the execution of business plans and monitor performance. - Develop programs, projects, and operational guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: - Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management Studies (B-Tech or National Diploma). - Valid driver’s licence. Minimum Experience: - 10+ years at a Senior Manager level in the Hospitality Leisure Industry in a multi-unit GM role, preferably with a large group or international branded establishment. - Experience with Leisure Resorts and Luxury Lodges and Multiple-Property Management. Core Competencies: - Strategic management and planning. - Business development and client relationship management. - Operational and financial management. - Supply chain and property management. - People management and development. - Stakeholder engagement and communication.
