Australia Vacancies Automation Specialists position available in South Africa, South Africa Australia Vacancies Automation Specialists 2023-07-28 - 2027-12-01 Permanent PE000693 Engineering / Technical / Production / Manufacturing / Motor South Africa , South Africa (Negotiable) Our client is looking for Electrical Engineers/Programming, Mechatronics Engineers, and Automation Specialists to join their team in Australia. Responsibilities: As an Electrical Engineer/Programming or Mechatronics Engineer, or Automation Specialist you will provide support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Electricity and Automation (E&A) professional and technical operational activities and during participation in *** projects; doing so in line with corporate guidelines, enforcing that all MES-E&A activities enhance business objectives, product quality and plant operation/performance while ensuring that peoples health and safety, product safety, and environment are never compromised. Participate in Capital Investments projects in the factory ensuring that the technical solution follows corporate and market standards and is delivered with the expected quality, being on time and within budget. The preparation of the user and technical specifications, coordinating the requirements of the main users (production, quality, etc.), the follow-up of the solution development, the pre-test, implementation, and training of operators and maintenance crews. Must fully understand the technical details of the Electrical and Automotive solutions. Ensure Process&Equipment safety for people, products, and the environment and that one exhibits an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations. Ensures that all installations comply with market and corporate safety, health, environment, product safety, and product quality standards. Ensure that Change Management is in place to appropriately manage modifications Ensure the application of the market and local automotive and electrical legislation. Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years of Automation and Electrical experience Tertiary: Automotive Engineering Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification Experience in Personnel Supervision of technical teams. Participation in the development of engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team (preferably including different products and technologies in Electrical and Automation areas) Strong knowledge of Robotics, PLC's and Process Control Production Line experience Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning, and/or maintenance execution desired but not required For more information please contact: Christopher Plaatjies Apply #J-18808-Ljbffr
