Reporting directly to the Insurance Team Leader, your mission is twofold: to expand our insurance user base through strategic sales initiatives while delivering unparalleled ongoing support. From securing new clients to nurturing existing relationships, your role is vital in ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Whether it's updating policies, resolving payment issues, or processing claims, you're the trusted advisor our clients rely on. With seamless collaboration between our call centre staff and external clients, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding futures and building lasting trust. Welcome to a role where expertise meets empathy, and every interaction makes a difference!Duties and Responsibilities (Include but is not limited to):Assist customers with taking out insurance policiesContact clients to make a sale Follow the standardised sales process (i.e. the script)Ensure the disclosures are read Confirm clients' details on the system Confirm date of birth and address Capture all required information of the spouse/family to be covered Capture all required information about the beneficiary Inform customers to update any outstanding information at a later stage Explain the options for the payoutUpdate the applicable systems with the sales/customer detailsSave all calls on ICFX Update the call log into the systemEnsure spreadsheet is updated after each callExplain the cost and payment process for the relevant insurance policy optionEnsure the customer understands the different payment options for different coversExplain that payments can be made up until the 15th of the monthExplain that payment can only be made for certain amounts and therefore may need to be made bimonthly or biannually Explain the SMS messages that the customers will receiveManage own professional and self-developmentMonitor and manage own targetsAttend monthly and b-annual KPI meeting with Head of Wallet and VASAttend all required training courses for new productsListen to recorded calls of the other Insurance Consultants and provide coaching and constructive feedback once a weekAttend weekly team strategy meetingsKey Requirements:Grade 12 or equivalent Mukuru call centre training course Understanding and speaking of English and one of these relevant languages: (Shona/ Ndebele)FSB Registration (Essential)1 years Customer Service / Sales experienceCall centre experience(Desirable)3 months FAIS required work experience under supervision completed (Essential)Knowledge of money transfer procedures Knowledge of FICA regulations Knowledge of African currencies Knowledge of FIAS regulationsAdditional Skills:Multitasking skillsComputer skills Typing skills Telephone skills Verbal communication skills Selling skills Time management skills Organisational & administrative skills Conflict management skillsAttention to detailI am sure you are reading this job description and meet majority of the criteria BUT you may also still not be 100% comfortable in applying.
