We are looking to recruit an Underwriter in Travel Department, based in Parktown.(ads1)Job Responsibilities:Sales and advice on Hollard Travel insurance policies.Provide quotes for ad-hoc requestsSuggest changes to the Policy Wording as neededOversee quarterly invoices based on underwriting stats (premium, claims, expenses)Ensure all administrative functions within the underwriting team are adhered to by verifying rating principles, and mandates.Raise monthly / corporate premiumEnhance the image of the company through the continuous delivery of efficient and effective customer service.To execute the sales process with diligence and integrity.Ensure premiums are paid timeously and recon to the underwriting stats/invoicesManage and oversee Corporate Policy Renewals and Renewal TermsResponsible for business within Hollard Travel South AfricaTo understand objections and overcome them with an appropriate response.Follow up on outstanding claims from client and from assessorsAnalyze financial growth and help set budgetsEnsure strong working relationship between all stakeholders.
