Sales Representative (Industrial Valves) – Johannesburg. Our client, a local supplier of industrial valves is looking for a sales specialist to resell their wide range of steam, water, oil, and gas valves to new and existing customers throughout South Africa. Requirements: A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ recent sales experience in the industrial valve industry is essential. Technically minded. A valid driver’s licence. Advanced skills on MS Office Suite and knowledge of Syspro would be an advantage. Excellent negotiation, analytical and people skills are required. Excellent communication and presentation skills. The ability to form strong business relationships based on excellent customer service and communication. Able to close deals. Must be able to open and service new account customers. Key Responsibilities: Developing and maintaining of new and existing customers in the Water reticulation, Irrigation, Sewage, Mining, Power generation, manufacturing, oil, and gas industries. Developing and growing new business relationships specifically in the South African Valve industry and other related business sectors – securing new business leads. Meeting and exceeding set sales targets for the valve division. The development and management of sales budgets, objectives, and strategies. Monitor the tender, costing"ation process, and success rate. Negotiate various Contracts and Projects. Establishing and maintaining Project and Customer information files. Reporting monthly and pertaining to current tenders, orders, and targets. Pricing, maintaining, monitoring, and managing the process for annual contracts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
