RPO Recruitment is currently hiring a Surface General Engineering Supervisor to join a well-established mining company in the Northern Cape. As a Surface General Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery on the surface mining operations.Responsibilities:Supervise and manage the maintenance team on siteEnsure equipment availability and productivityImplement and maintain preventative maintenance programsManage and control maintenance costs and budgetsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and standardsMonitor and report on equipment performance and reliabilityIdentify areas for improvement and implement action plansCoordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operationsRequirementsGrade 12Trade Test CertificateArtisan / Technician N5 Engineering StudiesAdvanced Management CertificateMinimum 6 Years Post apprenticeship in an artisan / technician trade in heavy industrial, mining or plant and/or Trackless Mobile MachineryAt least 5 Years Supervisory experienceStrong knowledge of maintenance strategies and practicesExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environmentValid driver's licenseBenefitsSalary: NegotiableFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Training & DevelopmentContact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
