Overview (Area:) Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) (Salary:) Market Related (Ref: AG) Our client seeks to appoint a Junior Quality Engineer at their Gqeberha site who will be responsible for the inspection of all incoming parts from supply chain companies and internally produced components to meet the quality standards and systems required. This role also has people and budgetary responsibility. Must have Matric with a relevant 3-year Degree/Diploma (Mechanical Engineering) as well as a Quality qualification and 3+ years in a similar role. Automotive manufacturing/component manufacturing would be a distinct advantage. Solid knowledge of Total Quality Management and Six Sigma/ Lean manufacturing skills are essential to this role (Six Sigma/ Lean certification required). Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers is key.
