This technical external sales representative position reports to the Branch Manager and need to cover an extensive areain Rustenburg , Klerksdorp and Kuruman. The applicant must reside in Rustenburg and have extensive knowledge of the area. Qualifications and experience:Grade 12 minimumSales experience with proven results in the mining, industrial and agricultural fields over a minimum of 5 yearsA marketing or Sales Diploma is preferred with engineering backgroundKnowledge of rigging and Lifting would be a key advantageExtensive Mining , Industrial and Agricultural KnowledgeSound Computer SkillsMathematical InclinedValid Code 8 drivers LicenseFluent in English and AfrikaansKey Responsibilities:Generating and increasing sales of lifting and rigging products and servicesExpanding technical product knowledge, generating and increasing sales. Consistently achieving monthly targets.Market intelligence - develop good customer relationships and maintain / improve existing customer satisfaction.Increase customer base , develop new markets and follow up on leads.Have a full understanding of competitors' activities in the territory.Have a full technical understanding of the market dynamics in the local mining, industrial and agricultural sectors.Maintain customer call records.Prepare quotes based on pricing guidelines set.Prepare and give sales presentations to promote products.Comply with the safety, health and environmental standards.Professional and ethical conduct at all time.Willing to work outside normal working hours if required to.Must be prepared to travel extensively in vast area.To assist with ad hoc tasks, initiatives and projects within the branches.Advise customers by providing solutions to lifting problems.Prepared to be trained to use forklift and overhead crane to assist in loading and off-loading if required.Key Attributes:Technically mindedEager to find and close salesStrong communication skills - speaking writing and listeningOutgoing, persuasive and perseveringConfident in making new contacts and be able to relate easily to customersMaintain a high energy level and demonstrate a positive attitude towards self and othersTime management - ability to organise his/her time effectivelySalary between R32 000.00 and R37 000.00#J-18808-Ljbffr
