Well established dealership in Johannesburg North is looking for an Accountant to join their growing team.Qualifications:Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field / National Diploma in Accounting Proven working experience as a Dealership Accountant or in a similar role.Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.Experience with creating financial statements.Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.Accuracy and attention to detail.Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Assist with tax audits and tax returns.Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
