Description Our client, in the Agri Sector, is currently looking to employ a Regional Sales Manager, Remote working: must be based either in, or between Cape Town or Port Elizabeth. A wonderful career opportunity awaits you. Requirements: Matric with tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science, B/Agric, Sales and Marketing/Business or similar. Minimum 5+ years in a similar sales-related role. Relevant experience gained in agricultural sector with Dairy, Sheep, Cattle, Feedlot and Smart Farming exposure preferred. Bilingualism is essential (Afrikaans and English). MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Halo/Sales software. Valid, unendorsed driver’s licence and Own vehicle is required. SA Citizen with clean criminal history. Normal working hours (45 hours per week), availability afterhours and on weekends if required. Extensive travelling required. Travel to KZN region for one week on a six-week call cycle. Remote working from home office, travel if required. Competencies: Customer orientation - excellent relationship building abilities. Fluency in English and Afrikaans. Effective communication skills – verbal and written. Good presentation skills. Technical exposure. Strong reasoning and analytical skills. Self-management and Time Management. Results driven. Work in a team and independently. Must be willing to travel extensively. Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to: Responsible for business development within the region. Generation of new sales (achieve targets). Implement the company’s client acquisition and retention strategies to maximise sales. Service delivery and Product Training. Management of Agents: generate potential leads and maintain relationships with existing agent network. Grow the agent network. Key Relationships: Internal: Local Management, Production, Quality Control, Finance, Sales department. External: Customers, agents, suppliers, and independent contractors.
