Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree and/or National Diploma in relevant field Extensive knowledge of aviation/air cargo handling activities Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior leadership / Executive role Knowledge of Dangerous Goods advantageous Air Cargo Security knowledge Duties Will Include Provide leadership and guidance to the employees Identify new business opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency Identify potential new airline customers Maintain regular contact with the management team Maintain regular contact with local customer airline management Liaise with local airport authority, SA Customs, and government bodies Plan, organize, and manage headcount Coach, lead, mentor, and develop the senior management team Oversee all business management activities at the airfreight cargo terminals in South Africa Optimize resource and materials management and productivity analysis Ensure KPIs are monitored by operational management and targets are achieved Drive Continuous Improvement and Performance Excellence in line with the Company's global strategy Ensure safe and healthy working environments Develop revenue and expense budgets Manage impacts on budget and costs to drive profitability, assuming P&L responsibility Lead commercial, marketing, and sales efforts to secure new customers Develop business strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and service delivery in the cargo terminals Desired Skills General Manager Operations Manager Managing Director Regional Manager Employer&Job Benefits Market related Senior level role #J-18808-Ljbffr
