The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the full sales process and as a result be able to prospect clients and close deals often. This role is all about growing business opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships.The purpose of this position is to provide specialist pump technical support to customers. This role ensures compliance with quality service delivery targets and increases sales opportunities.Minimum Requirements:4-years’ experience in selling industrial pumping solutions and product (MUST HAVE).Practical knowledge of positive displacement and rotodynamic pumps (MUST HAVE).International Travel is required e.g. Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, BotswanaDiploma in Mechanical / Engineering / Agriculture field (preferred).Own reliable transport (preferred).Additional Requirements:Ability to work independently.Ability to disassemble a pump for reporting and quoting purposes.Ability and willingness to assist customers during breakdowns or annual shutdowns.Ability and willingness to travel for business (Nationally and internationally).Key Performance Area:Identify new sales opportunities.Promote all services and products offered by company.Effectively resolve customer complaints.Ensure customer satisfaction.Meet monthly sales targets.Main Responsibilities:Generate new business leads and grow new business opportunities by marketing products and services to potential customers.Grow customer base and create a sales relationship with new potential buyers.Manage proposals for vendors and customers as required.Ensure annual business development targets are achieved (targets are discussed and agreed by parties annually).Responsible for making daily accurate recommendations to customers in the following sectors; industrial, commercial, and residential applications /or according to customer specifications.Ensure technical services are completed on time /or within customer requested timeframes.Ensure maintenance services and repairs are always done to the best service standards.Exceed your monthly agreed sales targets.Develop your own customer database by expanding your sales pipeline.Complete customer surveys to address pump maintenance, pump repairs or pump replacements.Give regular and effective feedback to management and ensure all customer concerns are quickly resolved.Submit daily, weekly, monthly job cards with supporting documentation for payment processing within communicated timelines etc.
