A National leading manufacturer, specializing in, designing, and manufacturing of custom awards, Trophies, medals, name badges and signage is urgently looking to employ a Sales Executive reporting directly to the Senior Manager. Position: Sales Representative Industry: Retail Location: Midrand - Gauteng Salary: Market Related + High Commission Desired Experience&Qualifications : ? Grade 12 Minimum (verifiable). Advantageous Certificate/Diploma. You must have passed the school of closing the deal in the war trenches of selling. Proven experience as a successful sales representative. Duties and Responsibilities : ? Generating sales for the company through closing sales deals over the phone and in person and maintaining good customer relationships. Find and qualify new prospect. Close (using all selling skills). Administration of sales processes – email, customer data base, job processing platform. Telephone work. Construct reports. Attend sales meetings. Work inclusively with all staff. Take on the responsibility to : Work independently and manage continued development of a prospecting pipeline list. Recognise opportunities to expand the company footprint. Achieve the sales growth by closing sales from new clients as defined by the company. Use knowledge of all stock, service items and value-ads to attract and maintain clients. Build rapport with clients - manage long-term relationships between client and company. Display the company’s values and strive to maintain the company’s reputation. Focus on top-line sales while being cognizant of profitability. Work collaboratively with the existing sales agents. Know the competitor activity sufficiently to devise attractive selling strategies. Maintain knowledge of current marketing trends through discussion with manager and through independent research. Monitor stock situation. Update Sage Evolution database and all customer notes. Keep records of contact with customer and be meticulous about following up on opportunities and commitments. Handle customer grievances to preserve the company’s reputation. Knowledge/Skills: Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota. Proficient in email. A basic knowledge of Excel and Word. Knowledge of MS Windows and/or Sage Evolution will be an advantage. Proficient in English. Afrikaans and other SA official languages is an advantage. Ability to learn about products and services. Able to describe/explain them to prospective clients according to their wants and needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection. Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints. Ensure Vision, Mission and Values underpin all activities.
