Responsibilities: Design and develop data warehousing and data lake solutions to support business needs Implement ETL processes using tools such as AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Matillion, SSIS Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security by implementing data governance and quality best practices Optimise and maintain existing ETL pipelines for performance and scalability Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, particularly in cloud data engineering. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Strong experience with data warehousing and data lake architecture and technologies Experience in Data Vault and dimensional modelling techniques for data warehousing Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, AWS EMR, Databricks is a plus Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka AWS Databricks SAS Spark Databricks PySpark Python The Reference Number for this position is NG59311 which is a Contract Fully Remote position offering a salary of R450 up to R550 per hour salary negotiable based on experience.
