Johannesburg, Gauteng Retail Stores Manager Salary: R40 000.00 - R60 000.00 Key Responsibilities: General Manager all GP Stores Required to work between all stores Repairs and Maintenance of Stores Interviewing candidates for potential store employees Signing of Contracts with new staff members Issuing of Warnings Resolving Issues with Managers and staff Commission Calculations Arranging for Suppliers to train staff on new or existing ranges Implementing new systems to make things run more smoothly Building up a client database within the stores Liaising with Marketing department for: Attending events to sell products and market the brands Creating a schedule of events to be attended throughout the year Coordinating marketing in store with online and social media marketing Ensuring all staff know the company procedures and policies Coordinating repairs of products for clothing, watches, sunglasses, etc. Monitoring all communications groups between staff and ensuring compliance with company policies Ensuring all store managers report a monthly checklist for any issues in store that need to be fixed or replaced Ensuring all contractors used in store comply with the company's requirements Overseeing all contractors billing and ensuring accountability for work done Ensuring managers are accountable for stock takes or cycle counts done in store Ensuring managers are accountable for stock requisitions and IBT’s sent and received from stores Ensuring managers are accountable for accurate pricing against the system within the stores Ensuring full accountability of stock takes or cycle counts Ensuring a monthly stock take is performed in all locations Ensuring that daily cycle counts are done on smaller sections each day Sending out monthly stock aging reports Performing monthly stock fulfillment reports on categories or items that are going to be out of stock Conducting random spot checks in store to audit actual counts performed weekly Setting financial year budgets linked to budgets per store and per sales member Monitoring Sales Team’s targets and assisting staff members to reach their targets Reporting back any reasons why sales team can’t meet their targets to management Training of Staff in Products/Selling/Processes Handling or ensuring all Customer Queries/Stock Requests/Complaints are handled in a timely manner Authorising discounts in store when discounts other than system discounts are used Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Pastel Evolution “must” Ability to work in a high-pressure environment Ability to work retail hours Fluent in English and Afrikaans Knowledge and experience in sales of exclusive brands Posted 2024-09-03 #J-18808-Ljbffr
