We are committed to meeting the needs of our customers in a sustainable and efficient way, working to transform the industries we serve through innovation and collaboration.Main Purpose of the Role: This role will support the comprehensive, accurate, timely recording, collation and preparation, for final approval, of financial information for UKEC and its related legal entities according to approved group and company requirements, and to comply with all financial, legal and internal group and company deadlinesProvide support to Financial Controller & VP – Finance for UKEC regionMain Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:Provide support to the UKEC Financial Controller & Regional VP of Finance in respect of helping to deliver the regional strategy and business planCollating and assisting in the timely and accurate preparation and submission of the UKEC QBR (Quarterly Business Review) slide pack and adhoc presentations.Collating and assisting in the timely and accurate preparation and submission of the Flash reporting for the UKEC region.Collating and assisting in the timely and accurate preparation and submission of the Forecast reporting for the UKEC regionCollating and assisting in the timely and accurate preparation and submission of the Annual Plan for the UKEC regionProvide support in the production of compliant statutory accounts for the UKEC regionAssisting and reviewing the timely and accurate preparation and submission of UKEC Regional monthly management accounts, supporting balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis for the UKEC entitiesCollate, Review & question variances to Plan & forecastAssist with the Balance sheet reconciliation & review process in order to minimise financial risk within UKEC regionCollating and assisting in the timely and accurate preparation and submission of the *** tracker for the UKEC region.Collating and assisting in the timely and accurate preparation and submission of the Cash Flow Forecast for the UKEC region.Assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of annual and quarterly statutory reporting requirements.Assist with Group Finance Reporting requirements e.g Tax simplification initiatives, Tax disclosure packs, Hire Fleet utilisation reportsThe job holder may be required to carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.To be successful in this role, you will need:Degree in a relevant disciplinePrevious experience in a similar roleStrong system skills including excel to a high level (pivot tables, vlookups, nested formulas)Quick to learn new conceptsAnalytical mindset, and comfortable working with data intensive spreadsheetsTime management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.Methodical, Detail orientated.
