The main purpose of this role is Sourcing for local/central, Platform & Project teams, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Engineering and Infrastructure. This role will be based at the Gautrain Maintenance Depot in Midrand, Johannesburg.  YOUR ROLE: Ensure project execution in line with QCD objectives Pilot contractual relationships with suppliers for his/her scope Identification of project and business needs Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool Negotiation of cost reduction with suppliers Setup contracts with suppliers based on agreed prices, leadtimes and labour rates Active participation to commodity strategy and panel élaboration Closely work with sourcing project representatives (Project Sourcing Manager, etc…) YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Business school or relevant qualification in purchasing Minimum of three years working experience in purchasing Continuously ensuring alignment with customer contractual requirements Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, communication, ability to convince) Team management (capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of teams) Complexity management skills MS Office We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.
