Create the property strategy and tactical plan for the Coastal division aligned to each brands strategies and the property division’s strategy. Secure new premises in the Coastal division for the Group in line with the Group's strategic plan and negotiate extended tenure on existing premises. Ensuring the best cost of occupation in all premises in the most suitable locations and in configurations on the most favorable terms. Successfully lead a team of senior property managers, property managers and administrators to deliver required KPI’s and outputs. Oversee +-50% of a total of 3500 stores that generate a significant turnover. Key Responsibilities: creates property strategy with brands and Head of Property Development the property strategy and tactical plan for the coastal division aligned to each brands strategies and the property divisions strategy Deliver on Property strategy for trading divisions and brands stacks’ sites to be actively secured to deliver each brands strategy profitable space and create strategic value in the property space for the stacks’ and brands engineer existing space to the groups benefit to be market related and achieved on time adapt approach as market changes and maintain excellent relationships with key role players in the industry (I.e. developers, landlords, chains, property consultants etc.) to ensure the Group remains retailer of choice. and maintain great relationships with internal stakeholders namely Head of Business, Head of Operations, Head of Finance, Gsd, Lease administration and Accounts Payable. with Group store development team and share all relevant information to facilitate the successful completion of projects with role players and keep abreast of the Retail Property Industry. Network with industry players to ensure the Group stays ahead of developments in the market. property strategy to industry norms and best practices to retain the Group's competitive advantage within its property portfolio Create, Develop and Implement Processes and manage property administration processes manage the administration function and ensure processes align between the coastal and inland divisions efficient processes and implement same to protect TFG interests adequately processes are efficient and regularly updated Leadership and delivery team moral change property KPI’s required outputs and performance from the team Qualifications and Experience: year degree/honours degree in business, marketing or property studies/valuations to 15yrs experience in senior management in business, retail or retail property industry Skills: Excellent leadership skills Business Acumen Able to influence at senior level Retail and retail property knowledge Self-driven, Excellent Mathematical ability Takes accountability and Ethical (Beyond reproach) Good people and communication skills Strategic Awareness Decision making ability Financial Management skills Relationship Building and Networking Planning&Organising ability Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
