Reporting to the Finance Manager, the COST ACCOUNTANT will be responsible for developing robust costing processes to support high volume, manufacturing operations, for an established steel manufacturer and distributor in Gauteng, South Africa. Responsibilities include: Performing detailed analysis and allocation of manufacturing overhead costs.Engaging in budget preparation and managing financial forecasting activities.Ensuring the accuracy of inventory records and warehouse volumes.Conducting sales gross profit (GP) analysis and PPV analysis.Qualifications and Experience requirements:Degree or National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting or a related field.Proven experience in a steel manufacturing environment or similar.Experience with Syspro or similar ERP systems is desirable This role will suit an ambitious Cost Accountant who enjoys being autonomous and adding value through excellent work.
