Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will assist in overseeing all aspects of lodge operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the highest standards of service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including staff management, guest relations, and financial performance. Oversee various departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Lead by example and provide hands-on support to team members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of excellence. Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and optimize operational efficiency. Monitor lodge performance metrics and financial indicators, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Assist in recruitment, training, and development of staff members, ensuring that they are well-equipped to deliver exceptional service. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed guest expectations at every opportunity. Uphold the lodge's standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Support the General Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, with a strong background in lodge or hotel operations. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes.
