Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and project goals.Design and develop mechanical components for vehicles, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability.Utilise CAD software to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.Conduct feasibility studies and performance analysis for proposed designs.Prototype and test vehicle components to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with suppliers to source and select appropriate materials for components.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into designs.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in mechanical design, with a focus on automotive components.Proficiency in CAD software (SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, etc.).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Knowledge of materials selection and manufacturing processes for automotive components.
