A leading pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Demand Planner.Key Responsibilities:Earmarked the risks associated with products dailyApply all changes to MDP only upon approval from Supply Chain Manager with attention to detailUpdate Portal Consistently:Addition of new products launchedUpdate of Supplier Cost and SEPUpdate minimum order quantitiesBatch sizesLead timesHighlight the risk to Product Managers and the Supply Chain Business Partner in the case of increased sales and or slow salesChair demand planning meetings:Review previous demand and buy out plan compared to forecastPlan: Delivery of non-deliverables, milling and packing of new orders, monitor purchasesExplain stock shortages or non delivery and communicate to sales teamDiscuss expected downtime and historic downtime by SuppliersProduction and Demand Planning:Apply company protocols and policies to ensure world class standards of products and servicesCoordinate the demand planning process from production to packing and warehousingAlways ensure adequate stock levelsLead daily production plan to meet sales requirements and communicate shortages to relevant partiesManage and plan the inventory supply to meet sales demandPrepare daily stock planning and detailed order planning reports for production meetingsCommunicate stock sheet and stock planning report to Supply Chain Manager on a daily basis.Requirements:Diploma/ Degree in Logistics OR Supply Chain OR similarMin 3 years’ experience either in Pharma or FMCG – As a demand planner#J-18808-Ljbffr
