Operating out of a purpose-built campus in South Manchester the business now need to bolster their payroll team with an additional experienced Payroll Manager. You will be joining a hardworking, friendly and collaborative Global Payroll team. This is a fast paced and a changeable environment but highly rewarding. As a Payroll Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Payroll Advisors processing a number of varied and high-volume payrolls. Reporting into the Global Head of Payroll, this is a hands-on role with varied duties including: Planning and execution of end-to-end payroll processes Input to company wide development of processes and procedures and project as part of the Payroll and wider People team Set tasks and objectives for the team, ensuring deadlines are met and the team are engaged to deliver and working in collaboration Monitor work loads with the team and prioritise accordingly Keeping up to date with all relevant legislation Provide technical support and advice to the team and wider business Ensure correct information is provide to and reported to HMRC and pension providers Assist with the recruitment into the Payroll team and ongoing development of your team About you: Extensive payroll experience working in a managerial capacity True end-to-end Payroll specialist Ability to perform manual calculations Strong excel skills including formulae, pivot tables and Vlookups Up to date with HMRC legislation, guidelines and procedures Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and nurture a successful team Passionate about payroll Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment What's on offer: Basic salary in the region of £43,000-£50,000 4 days in the office and 1 day from home Flexibility on start/finish times - this is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week Company pension Onsite restaurant, coffee shop and gym Employee discounts and interest free loan available for special purchases If you are looking for your next Payroll opportunity then please apply to Leanne Boddy at Macmillan Davies.
