IT Manager - Johannesburg, South Africa - Ulwezi Consulting Pty Ltd Provide IT Solutions and Project Management Hardware&Software Management SLA's&Licensing Network, Connectivity and Security Data Integration Management of Human Resources (Subordinates) Self-Management Strategic Management Description Key Performance Area : Provide IT Solutions and Project Management Hardware&Software Management SLA's&Licensing Network, Connectivity and Security Data Integration Financial Management Client Liaison Management of Human Resources (Subordinates) Self-Management Strategic Management Qualifications and Experience : Matric Tertiary Qualification in IT Field MCITP or equivalent an advantage Windows and Microsoft proficient Network and PC support Management Qualification Minimum 5 years' experience as an IT Manager Experience in the Hospitality industry Own Vehicle&Driver's license Extensive Travel Attributes and Competencies : Comparison skills Handeye coordination Language skills Listening skills Mental alertness Selfmotivation Visual attention skills Performance Standard : IT needs are identified in liaison with relevant members of management IT Solutions are developed, designed and tested to meet identified needs IT solutions are implemented against an agreed implementation plan Projects are managed to the satisfaction of management and users Innovation is maintained through investigation and implementation of new technologies to benefit thebusiness Appropriate and functioning hardware is available to meet business needs Appropriate and functioning software is available to meet business needs Help Desk provides appropriate support to meet user needs within acceptable timeframes Disaster Recovery Plan is available to ensure access to operational information in the event of a disaster Security controls are implemented and adhered to, to safeguard company information Applications for reporting, budgeting and forecasting are developed and maintained EXCO Report is compiled accurately on or before the stipulated deadline Hardware and software requirements including upgrades are determined annually in consultation with relevant management In liaison with the Chief Financial Officer an expense budget is prepared in accordance with requirement and on or before the stipulated deadline Expenditure is monitored and managed in accordance with the approved budget Required new hardware and software including upgraded equipment is procured within budgeted parameters using approved suppliers Integrated IT solutions are presented to clients Ensure firm SLA's in place with all ICT service providers and updated regularly where applicable. Conduct meetings to review SLA performance Ensure that all licenses are legal. No pirate software or Licensing All license costs reviewed regularly ensuring no unnecessary spend. Ensure network is secured at all times. Ensure connectivity at all regions at all times and hardware maintained accordingly. Cost effective connectivity and redundancy Ensure average Alice(Internal cyber security tool) rating of less than 30% for FY202 Necessary Cyber security protection in place to reduce the risk of cyber attacks User access updated at all times and reviewed monthly on ALL software systems. POS included IT problems at clients are identified, attended to and resolved within acceptable timeframes Estimates for tenders are compiled using available information and history New appointments meet the requirements of the job specification and preference is given in terms of employment equity goals Performance is monitored and reviewed at stipulated times Training or development needs of direct reports are identified, planned for and implemented Effective communication is practiced Subordinates are mentored and assisted in trouble shooting complex problems Subordinates report harmonious relationships Activities are planned annually and reviewed quarterly Feedback is provided to the Chief Financial Officer as stipulated Adherence and Compliance to the Service Level agreement between the business and the client to ensure Client's needs are met as per the agreement and service delivery to the Client is in line with the SLA.
