The incumbent will be installing, repairing and maintaining equipment Key requirements Engineering qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a similar role Marine experience is essential Computer literate and capable of producing professional service reports Key responsibilities Ensure that all work is carried out according to the manufacturer's procedures and specifications by utilization of manufacturer's instruction manuals and relevant technical drawings: dismantling of equipment, machinery and components Readying components for inspection and calibration Performing/assisting with inspection and calibration, balancing of equipment and recording calibrated data for incorporation into repair reports Identifying any worn or malfunctioning components and marking them for replacement Assembling equipment, machinery and components upon receipt of replacement parts and conducts final inspection and testing Assist with root cause investigation of failed equipment Record all calibrations, deviation from specifications, spare parts utilization The removal and installation of fuel pumps and injectors on all engines Perform welding and basic fabrication tasks on equipment where required Ensure that all activities are in accordance with regulation and policies, code of conduct and applicable law Ensure that health and safety requirements are met and adhered to at all times #J-18808-Ljbffr
