Job Description: Optimizing and continuously improving the production processes adhering to QCDSM (Quality, Costs, Delivery, Safety and Moral) framework and will ensure that business KPAs and KPIs are met.Overseeing production teams, ensuring safety and quality compliance within the team in accordance with the relevant standards and cost effective effectively executing all production related activities.The successful candidate will be the custodian of Cold Products metallurgical processes through reporting, analyzing and monitoring the production process and product quality. Recommending improved processes based on trials and responsible for ensuring the implementation of the corrective actions.Job Requirements: This exciting role demands a BEng (preferably in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering coupled with at least 5 years experience in the manufacturing process, SHE and quality procedures as well as proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of metallurgical principles will be an added advantage.Our ideal candidate must be able to handle stress, shows excellent attention to detail when dealing with high volumes of data and employs analytical ability to coach and professional and skilled team members.We seek a proactive self-driven team player who is able to work independently, have high quality and safety standards and boast excellent communication, planning and organizing skills.
