A prominent water treatment solutions provider based in West Rand is actively recruiting a skilled Project Engineer on a fixed-term basis. The client seeks an experienced On-Site Project Engineer for a key water treatment project in the Rustenburg (North-West) area. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution and ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards. The role necessitates a strategic and hands-on approach, combining technical expertise with effective client interaction and team leadership. This is a fixed-term contract position lasting 6 to 9 months, requiring full-time, on-site presence for the duration of the project.  Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. (Chemical or Mechanical)Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the water treatment Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and regulations.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.Availability for full-time, on-site work for the project duration.Contract-based work for the project duration.Own Vehicle with valid licenseNo Criminal RecordClean bill of Health to pass client site medicals.Willing to work underground.RSA Citizen – SA IDExcellent computer skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft OfficeEnergetic, hard worker  Duties:Project Execution: Lead on-site water treatment project activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.Budget and Procurement: Manage project budgets, oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and chemicals.Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all project activities, adhering to industry regulations.Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including process diagrams, equipment specifications, and compliance reports.Problem Solving: Address on-site challenges promptly, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains in water treatment operations. If you have not heard from us within 3 months of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.Only online applications will be considered.You will be directed to our database service provider, Ditto Jobs.
