Hire Resolve is currently working with a reputable construction company that is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer in the construction industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in buildings and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities: Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to design mechanical systems that meet project requirements and specifications. Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, plans, and specifications for mechanical systems. Conducting site visits to assess existing mechanical systems and identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Coordinating with project managers to ensure that mechanical systems are installed and commissioned according to schedule and budget. Performing calculations and simulations to ensure the safety, efficiency, and functionality of mechanical systems. Overseeing the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the construction industry. Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and other mechanical systems used in construction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
