You will be a core member of the User Experience Design team working closely with key stakeholders such as CX, Product, Marketing, and IT to deliver world-class, innovative user experience aligned with organisational values, service standards, and strategies. You will be joining a dynamic and agile team who is able to react quickly to change, new ideas, and customer needs. Ensure a consistent user experience across the FirstRand sites with the help of defined usability standards and additional resources available. Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity. Develop, encourage, and nurture collaborative relationships across areas of specialisation. Ensure development and continuous value-add improvement to operational processes. Manage risks in own area of responsibility. Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to organisational values and service standards. Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation. Take the lead and act proactively to develop and grow designing-led user experiences. Conduct usability testing, present findings to key stakeholders, and incorporate feedback into design iterations. Showcase the value of a design thinking approach when co-creating experiences with stakeholders. Build relationships, communicate, and co-create with project teams to develop compelling experiences within the platform constraints, technical limitations, and timelines. Keep up to date with local and international UX/UI design trends and standards to apply informed and creative thought into designs and prototypes. Conduct user research and analysis and showcase strong analytical skills by being able to interpret customer feedback, wants, and needs quickly and effectively. Be involved in the early stages of the user experience design, collaborating with IT, product managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to develop and design solutions, create wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate user experiences. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders. You will be an ideal candidate if you: Proven UI experience with a strong portfolio. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction. Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
