Job Description As a Business Analyst, you will conduct in-depth analysis of business needs to provide software application solutions that deliver significant business value. You will collaborate with various business, technical, and technology stakeholders to design and implement innovative solutions that meet business objectives. Your role involves working with multiple stakeholder groups across the organization to identify, investigate, and analyze challenges faced by the enterprise. You will synthesize business requirements to inform solution design. Responsibilities and Work Outputs: Identify, investigate, and analyze business problems; propose documented solutions that fully address business requirements to optimize operations. Stay informed of market changes and internal system developments, ensuring that new processes align with best practices. Elicit requirements and design solutions by conducting requirement sessions (JAD), interviews, and reviewing existing documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders to document business process maps, business requirement definitions, and business requirements specifications. Develop and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements specifications in accordance with standards. Critically evaluate business processes to establish time and cost parameters and make innovative recommendations to impact the business positively. Investigate and analyze alternative solutions, proposing the best approach to meet business needs. Develop solutions that encompass the entire system, including people, processes, and technology. Assist in identifying risks and issues related to the implementation of solution requirements. Document the impact and interactions of business processes and requirements to support system design and development. Contribute to the successful implementation of projects to achieve business outcomes. Define success criteria using scenario testing and test cases to ensure testing covers all aspects of the business specification. Participate in user acceptance testing and guide users to ensure the designed solution meets business requirements. Identify and analyze deficiencies and loopholes in operational processes, proposing effective solutions. Investigate and propose process optimization opportunities in the context of best practices and improved operational efficiency. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with peers and organizational role players to achieve optimal cross-process integration. Requirements 5+ years of deep practical experience in a business analyst role, with repeated practice performing business analysis in a variety of complex situations. Relevant degree (essential) Insurance industry knowledge (essential) Experience and sound knowledge of Agile methodologies and continuous delivery models IIBA certification preferred.
