Senior Systems Engineer - Aerospace & Defense (Midrand, Gauteng) We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Midrand, Gauteng.  Responsibilities: Oversee all lifecycle stages of system/product development, from design and manufacturing to ongoing support.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define customer needs, translate them into actionable requirements, and guide the design and validation process.Continuously improve the company's engineering capabilities, leading to enhanced products and services.Conduct in-depth analysis of user requirements and architectures.Develop and document system requirements, design system architecture, and formulate acceptance test procedures.Support system-level integration and troubleshoot complex technical issues to find practical solutions.Participate actively in peer review activities and provide technical guidance to colleagues. Qualifications: Relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Aeronautical Engineering preferred).NQF Level 7 or 8 qualification required.Minimum 8 years' experience in a relevant engineering field (experience in aircraft/avionics a plus).Strong understanding and proven application of Systems Engineering principles.Experience with Model-Based Design (MBD) is a significant advantage.Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
