ENVIRONMENT: A dynamic firm who specializes in investments and managing commercial property seeks a highly driven and technical professional to fill the dual role of an IT Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s IT projects while coordinating the efforts of IT professionals to ensure that company systems function efficiently and align with business objectives. You will also be responsible for strategic IT planning, implementing technology solutions, and managing the IT Department's budget. DUTIES: IT Management - Meet with Directors monthly to align IT capabilities with business needs. Plan and manage budgets approved by the company. Recognise and mitigate IT risks. Manage IT capabilities for effective use. Asset life cycle planning. Capacity planning. Procurement planning and approval. Consulting on IT related matters within the company. Plan and consult on company cell phone packages. Relationship Management with service providers and suppliers. Implement and monitor performance metrics for IT staff. Employ and manage IT staff. Weekly productivity meetings with IT staff. Software license management. Recognize and enforce IT improvements. Ensure IT policies and procedures are met. Identify legal requirements in IT space. Confidential information gathering and management. Plan and manage building security systems, incl. Time&Attendance. Plan and document Disaster Recovery procedure. Plan and develop Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge Base Articles. General IT Support - Assist with escalated IT matters. Direct support for Directors. 3rd Party product research and support. Other related duties as assigned. HR related - Manage the IT staffing structure – Currently comprising of 2 Support Technicians. KPAs IT Manager - Meeting with Directors on monthly bases. Meeting with IT staff on weekly basis. Ensuring IT tickets are resolved within reasonable time frame. Operating IT within the proposed budget. Keep up staff moral and demeanour towards users. Accurately predict asset life cycles. Ensuring licensing requirements are met. KPIs IT Manager - Mean time to fulfil service requests (IT staff). Mean time to first response (IT staff). Budget accuracy. Outage due to events (preventative). Recurrence of particular outages.
