Overview / Purpose of the job: To execute all analytical and administrative functions in support of the Material Resource Planning function. This includes communication with all component suppliers as well as Supply Chain service providers to ensure all required materials procured through Purchase Orders arrive at the plant on the planned date as indicated by the MRP solution Responsibilities: Import Customer Demand into ERP (Sypro) Process Customer Demand on EDI portal Import EDI demand into Syspro Manually upload customer demand for customers that are not on EDI Verify completeness of Customer demand received Update MRP Excel file Refresh Stock on Hand (SOH) Refresh Demand Calculate VWSA Backlog Insert VWSA Backlog into MRP demand Refresh Component demand via Bill of Materials (BOM) Refresh PO's Refresh GRN's Establish critical parts - Out of Lead Time (OLT) Place new orders Generate new orders as per MRP for all suppliers Update and send releases to all suppliers PO management Track milestone adherence of all PO's Engage with suppliers and Forwarder on PO's that missed milestones Min Requirements: B.Eng / B.Sc / BTech in Industrial-, or Mechanical Engineering OR B.Sc Statistics / Mathematics, OR BCom Logistics / Supply Chain Up to 3 years practical experience in inventory and stock control as a Material Resource Planner Experience in the automotive industry will be an advantage MS Excel (Advanced) MS Office Working knowledge of Syspro Competencies: (Knowledge, skills and attributes) Excellent People Skills Active Listening and Good Communication Complex Problem Solving Ability KPI Generation Presenting Skills Judgment and Decision Making Analytical and Attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
