Build an Industrial Division at Tuffy Brands! Grow the industrial channel through developing existing and new accounts, agents/distributors, and other customers to achieve revenue and margin growth in line with the budget. Duties include cold calling prospective customers, identifying customer needs, conducting monthly key account meetings, making trade visits, performing competitor analysis, reporting, and proactively managing opportunities. A key aspect of this role is business development, expanding the current portfolio of industrial segment products by working with potential customers and the production department. Strong project management skills and the ability to drive a team towards a goal are essential. Key Objectives: Create an Industrial Division : In support of our mission to create a successful multinational consumer brands business, develop new channels and customers. Define Opportunities : Align with our vision to seek opportunities by identifying potential for existing and new products for customers. Understand Competitive Environment: Stay informed about competitors to realise potential and improve lives by offering superior solutions. Cold Canvassing : Gather information on potential clients, assess their needs, and position Tuffy as a viable solution to meet their needs. Use our existing infrastructure productively to create lasting value. Quotation Process : Collaborate with finance, marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain, embodying outstanding together. Customer Relationship Management : Handle all aspects of customer relationships, demonstrating personal accountability. Deliver Plans: Align customer and channel plans with overall business strategy, focusing on brand led growth. Budget and Forecasts: Manage annual budgets, quarterly and monthly forecasts. Reporting : Contribute to weekly, monthly reporting for OPCO and Manco’s. Profit Responsibility : Ensure profitability. Team Participation: Act as an effective member of the OPCO team, promoting smart pioneering. Education&Experience Requirements Essential: Preferably a suitable degree/diploma, but minimum qualifications may be considered at management discretion. Desirable: more than 3 years’ experience in an FMCG environment or suitable industrial market sales experience. Essential: Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Preferred: Knowledge of Sage 300 ERP or similar ERP systems. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Be a good communicator. Presentation skills. Negotiation skills at all levels. Thorough knowledge of plastics with a strong leaning towards recycled plastics. Lateral thinking with sound business acumen (commercial skills). Ability to identify opportunities. Independent contributor and able to work cohesively as part of a team. Highly service oriented. Organised with good time management Attention to detail and accuracy essential.
