Role: Senior Integrated Designer Job Level: Senior (7+ years' experience) Department: Creative Industry: FMCG Location: South Africa Time Zone Required: BST Type of Contract: FTC Start Date: Immediate Language: Proficiency in English is required as we are a global business A Little Bit About the Role: We have a great opportunity for a Senior Integrated Designer to work within a new team, to design and deliver a mix of digital, social, and print assets for a variety of high-profile brands. You together with your creative team will work on a multitude of diverse projects from concept through to delivery ensuring tasks are completed on time and on brand. Your role as an integrated designer is to provide an integrated approach to design problem solving, conceptualisation and implementation of your proposed creative vision and design direction underpinned by a solid framework you’ve built with a carefully considered set of common components across all possible dimension and media spec. A job well done is an unbreakable&unified design language, a system easily replicated across multi-channelled media categories from digital, social and branding, key visuals, brochures, OOH, POS and so much more. Strong mixed media design thinking coupled with some wicked right-brain domination tactics, the occasional task to adapt existing assets across digital and social advertising will without a doubt, see nothing but flames. A strong understanding of conceptualisation, graphic design, print, illustration, and typography is as essential as the experience to execute projects of all sizes and complete them with resourcefulness and dedication. You’ll ideally be from a digital or production agency background with around 7 years’ experience. The expectation is to maintain a fast paced and responsive workflow across multiple projects and brands within our organisation. Our team will work across the following, but not limited to: Digital Marketing Social Content Print OOH POS Adaptations Commercialising Media Product and campaign assets Re-purpose and adapt existing brand toolkits to creative engaging fresh content. Role Summary Working in true collaboration with our client, we have one goal in mind: ‘to be the leading agency partner for the development of stunning and effective needs based content and digital media campaigns’. We are looking for a senior creative with bags of creative ideas and the ability to implement them in a variety of mediums across the digital landscape. Your day to day role will be focused on delivering the best creative output for digital across the client's most prestigious brands. You will design static social assets to support monthly content calendars as well as have the opportunity to work on ideas to reach both healthcare professionals and patients with rare metabolic disorders. You’re able to be proactive, intuitive, and enjoy collaborating with a fast paced team. You need to be a team player that would also be able to work independently. You will be tasked with concepting and creating designs for digital and content based on both existing campaign assets and creating assets from scratch. You will be working within a variety of different creative, regulatory and brand guidelines, producing design to the client’s brief and exacting standards. You will proactively manage projects within agreed timescales taking into account quality, accuracy and consistency. As part of the team you will report to the Creative Director and Content Team Lead, who will guide you in managing timelines and achieving deliverables. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE Working on social, digital, print and content based projects Producing design collateral within brand guidelines Working proactively under own initiative and as part of the design team Effectively managing workloads within agreed timescales Concepting from a hero campaign idea Attending briefing meetings to discuss new projects with clients Producing digital assets across several markets Designing and improving internal documents on powerpoint Working with interactive PDFs for HCPs (doctors) in InDesign Brainstorming with team to elevate client briefs Being gatekeeper and organiser of digital asset storage Ensuring consistent naming conventions and tidy working files What You'll Need: Good working knowledge of both Above the line and Below the line marketing and design Excellent digital and print design skills with strong Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Powerpoint. Team player with the strong communication skills needed build strong and effective working relationships Ability to adhere to brand guidelines Ability to outline and push brand as required to keep design fresh and innovative Experience of building and maintaining successful client relationships Deep affinity with layout, typography, and ideas-generation Highly organised and able to stick to deadline Reliable and proactive – won’t leave the team in the lurch Ability to understand and stick to consumer health regulations Detail oriented and able to quality check teammates work Initiative to spot bottlenecks early on and work collaboratively with the team to find solutions You'll Have: High energy and a passion for ideas and effective visual storytelling. Solid understanding of graphic design, print and web technologies. Brand identity and campaign identities as real working experience. Social, digital, print and design experience with Visual Arts BS/BA degree a plus. FMCG industry brands experience and work in your portfolio. A portfolio demonstrating your ideas through to execution. Proficiency in Adobe CC suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Figma and associated prototyping. Develop your professional skills daily. Good to have: Experience on global FMCG brands. Multi-market experience. International and multicultural exposure.
