This is a four month contract role based in Nigel My client will offer you the opportunity to get involved on a group level concerning various reporting systems within the concern, which will enhance your reporting and consistency skills. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible to gather information, consolidate the information to aid with the deliverables of the department . Duties will include: Preparing the forecast on a weekly basis by partnering up with the sales and production team Assist with the budget preparation Overseeing Local and foreign Trade Payslips Management of the cashbook and Bank Reconciliation, including Credit Preparation of consolidated financial statements Collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends Asset Management Assist with month end, year-end closing, Budget process External and Internal Audit Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures Analyzing of financial information and summarize financial status Qualifications: BCompt/ CIMA Management Level completed Three years experience in Senior Accountant Implementation and interpreting of Costing Models Knowledge of Lean, ISO, Six Sigma manufacturing techniques Skills: QAD, IQR and SFDC Three years experience in Senior Accountant Implementation and interpreting of Costing Models Knowledge of Lean, ISO, Six Sigma manufacturing techniques Previous experience in staff management would be beneficial Previous experience with consolidations would be beneficial If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.For more finance jobs, please visit www.networkrecruitment.co.za .
