This insurance giant provides a variety of specialized insurance products through a successful network of partners.As the Finance Manager you will be tasked with the following:Ensuring accurate reporting of monthly Underwriting Management Agencies (UMAs) on the technical finance systemCompleting and reviewing month-end processes and files promptly for interfacing with the General ledgerPreparing and reviewing monthly reconciliations on various technical insurance balances and profit commission calculationsReviewing reconciliations and requisitions for UMA payment requestsPreparing information for IFRS 17 and analyzing resultsUsing various systems within the technical finance environment effectively and efficiently, such as the technical finance system, document management system, and SAPStaying updated with changes in the financial services industry that impact the business, such as IFRS 17Requirements:A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related disciplineQualified CA(SA)Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the short-term insurance industry, post-completing articles preferredProficiency in MS Office Excel (Advanced), Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookKnowledge of SAP (Advantage)If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
