My client is looking for a proactive Junior Finance Manager to analyze financial data, develop budgets, manage risks, and ensure compliance while driving business performance.Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will lead financial accounting, provide strategic insights, oversee audits, and manage a finance team to achieve operational efficiency and business growth.This role is based in Wadeville, Germiston.Main Responsibilities:Leadership & Oversight: Provide leadership in financial accounting, drive business growth, and monitor performance.Governance & Monitoring: Ensure finance governance and continuous improvement in finance functions.Financial Reporting: Deliver complete and accurate analysis for monthly reports to aid decision-making.Performance Reviews: Present monthly and quarterly management account reviews to executives.Month-End Efficiency: Implement SOPs to streamline month-end finalization.Cost Management: Coordinate and manage cost-saving initiatives.Compliance: Adhere to group reporting timelines and ensure financial compliance with group standards.Working Capital Management: Oversee debtor management, supplier relationships, timely payments, and stock management.*** Management: Understand and report on *** requirements and asset utilization.Audits & Taxation: Manage yearly financial audits, tax, and deferred tax calculations.Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive the preparation and timely submission of budgets and forecasts.Team Engagement: Train, identify areas for improvement, and manage finance staff for optimal performance.Performance Culture: Set a culture of continuous improvement and accountability in finance.ROCE: Drive Return on Capital Employed (ROCE).Payroll & Compliance: Review and sign off bi-weekly/monthly payroll reports and ensure statutory compliance.Costing Insights: Provide insights into manufacturing and product costing.Import Facilitation: Facilitate the import process.Qualifications and Experience Needed:BCom degree in finance.Completed SAICA/SAIPA Articles.5 years' experience with 2 years in a leadership role.Proficiency in financial reporting and compliance.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
