Gijima is looking to recruit 2 x competent Recruitment Consultant interns to assist our clients in finding the best candidates to staff their business. A successful candidate will attract candidates, screen them and match them to appropriate positions.The criteria is as follows:-Candidates must have completed a 3 year tertiary qualification in HR (i.e. HR diploma or degree)Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internetNo criminal record;Candidates must currently be unemployed;Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program;Candidates must live in Gauteng (preferably in the Midrand area) relocation is NOT an option;Candidates must be under the age of 35 as at 1 July 2024;Candidates must be a South African Citizen African, Coloured, IndianCompetencies/Skills Required:-Strong communication skills (verbal and written)Possess excellent command of the English languageUnderstanding of sourcing and recruiting techniquesCustomer service skillsOutstanding communication abilityConfident and pleasant personalityWell-organizedAbility to work with targetsSound judgementExcellent time management and organisational skillsA passionate desire to succeed and build a successful careerA winning mentalityOut of the box thinkingProficiency in using digital tools and platforms (e.g., ATS, CRM systems, LinkedIn, job boards), will be advantageous. ResponsibilitiesFind clients and foster long-term relationshipsUnderstand client requirementsAssessing and responding to the needs of each particular client or assignmentEmploy recruiting methods to attract candidates (e.g. job advertising)Evaluate resumes and applicationsSource candidates using databases, social media etc.Brief candidates on the opportunities offered by the clientAssume responsibility of pre-interview screeningMatch the most suitable candidates to different positionsCreate relationships with job seekers and provide adviceManaging the process through the interview to offer stage and beyondNegotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidateFacilitate and finalize agreements between candidate and employeeOffering CV, interview and general career adviceMust possess strong research skillsAbility to craft exciting and engaging job advertisementsPassionate about social media engagementONLY CANDIDATES WHO MEET THE CRITERIA MUST APPLY.
