About the role The Finance Manager is responsible for the full finance function for the company revenue and reporting team. The candidate will work closely with the financial controllers and Head of Finance to ensuring robust financial management and strict adherence to the company’s financial, audit and accounting policies / standards. The candidate will report to the Head of Finance and will be required to provide guidance and support to the financial controllers in the team. Work Experience 2+ years post articles corporate experience Advantageous Excellent communication High degree of attention to detail and review Action oriented Ability to work independently with minimal direction, and cross-functionally as part of a larger team. Education / Qualifications / Accreditations with Professional Body CA(SA) Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Management and review of month-end activities, including journals and reconciliations. Driving strong governance, financial control and process in the respective business areas Variance analysis and reporting Preparation of the monthly exco pack and adhoc reports Process enhancements and finding efficiencies Management of the audit process (internal&external) Working Capital Management Provide direction and support to the financial controllers Collaborate with other finance teams and business managers Part of the finance management team, providing updates on work and the team Responding to adhoc requests Technical Skills or Knowledge Strong technical accounting skills (IFRS) Financial acumen Implementation and management of internal financial and reporting controls knowledge Team management Detailed Reviews Contact me at the detail listed below.
